 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

     

 All bookings are strictly subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

 

Please observe all Terms and Conditions to help ensure your own enjoyment

and the enjoyment of all people and dogs using Dance’s Dog Paddock.

 

  • Use of the paddock is on a strict pre-book basis only.

  • Anyone who books the paddock for the first time will be met at the entrance gate for a brief introduction.

  • Cancellation policy:  Payments for bookings are non-refundable.  A booked session can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before it is due to start.

  • Bookings cannot be transferred to a third party without prior agreement with Dance's Dog Paddock.

  • It is the responsibility of the person who books the dog paddock to ensure all vehicles are parked correctly during their booked session.

  • It is the responsibility of the person who books the dog paddock to ensure any and all persons who visit the dog paddock with them are aware of, and comply with, these Terms and Conditions.  

  • Codes to the entrance gates will be sent to you 24 hours before your booked session.

  • A maximum of 4 dogs are permitted to use the dog paddock per booked session.

  • Dogs must be supervised at all times by at least 1 adult aged 18 years or over.

  • A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed per booked session. 

  • Vehicles must be parked inside the 2nd gate, on the hardstanding next to the field shelter.

  • Do not arrive early for your booked session.  

  • Do not enter the secure dog paddock before the start time for your session. Even if the paddock appears to be unoccupied someone may be in the shelter.

  • If anyone or any dog is in the paddock when your booked session is due to start, please text or ring us immediately.

  • DO NOT ENTER the secure dog paddock until it is unoccupied.

  • Please remember that dogs who use the paddock may be nervous or reactive so must not be approached.

  • Hand sanitiser is available inside the gate to the paddock and in the field shelter.

  • Please keep your dog secure in your vehicle until you are in the enclosed paddock and have closed and padlocked the gate to the field AND the gate to the enclosed paddock.

  • All areas inside the paddock are strictly NO SMOKING.

  • Children must be supervised at all times by an adult aged 18 years or over.

  • Dogs and children must not be left unattended at any time in the paddock.

  • Visitors should not behave, or allow their dogs to behave, in a manner which could be deemed disruptive or a nuisance.

  • As the owner/handler you are solely responsible for your dog at all times.

  • Use of the paddock relies upon a strict “Pick up your dog’s mess” policy.  

  • Please dispose of all used poo bags responsibly.

  • Drinking water is available for dogs in the field shelter.

  • No adults, children or dogs are allowed to climb on any gates, fencing or buildings in the paddock.

  • Dogs must not be allowed to dig holes in the dog paddock.

  • If you see any dog mess in the paddock, we ask that you be kind enough to pick it up in order to keep the field as clean and hygienic as possible.   Poo bags are provided for this in the field shelter and in the paddock. 

  • If you notice any damage to the fencing or any breach in the fencing, please report it to us immediately so that it can be repaired as a matter of urgency. 

  • If you notice any damage to agility equipment or any other items in the dog paddock, please let us know ASAP.

                                                                               

AT THE END OF A BOOKED SESSION

  • You must vacate the field no later than the time your booked session ends.

  • If you start your booked session late, you must still vacate the field no later than the time your booked session ends.

  • Access is regularly required to the dog paddock between booked sessions for essential upkeep. 

  • Do not leave any litter in the dog paddock or the field shelter.

  • Take care not to leave any toys or broken toys in the paddock or shelter.

  • Do not leave any food in the paddock as it could be harmful to some dogs.

  • If you groom your dog in the paddock you must take any/all removed fur away with you to dispose of responsibly.

  • You must close and padlock the gate to the paddock AND the gate to the field when you leave at the end of your booked time slot.

VACCINATIONS, WORM AND TICK TREATMENTS

  • It is advised that all dogs that visit the paddock are up to date with vaccinations and boosters to protect them against Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, Canine Hepatitis and Canine Distemper.

  • It is advised that all dogs that visit the paddock are up to date with worm and tick treatments with a veterinary prescribed/recommended product.

  • It is advised that all dogs that visit the paddock are vaccinated against Kennel cough (Bordetella Bronchiseptica and Canine Parainfluenza).

  • No dog should use the paddock if it has shown signs of illness, such as lethargy, loss of appetite, coughing, vomiting or diarrhoea in the past 72 hours.

 ANYONE WHO FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOOK OR USE THE DOG PADDOCK AGAIN.

WE RELY ON A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR NEIGHBOURS AND LOCAL COMMUNITY TO OFFER USE OF OUR PADDOCK TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WE THEREFORE ASK THAT CONSIDERATION IS SHOWN TO OUR NEIGHBOURS AND LOCAL COMMUNITY AT ALL TIMES.

 

 

DISCLAIMER

  • It is the responsibility of all users to assess the suitability of the paddock for use by themselves and use by their dogs and to identify any potential risks to themselves and to their dogs.

  • No one should use the paddock or allow their dog to use the paddock unless they are satisfied that it is safe for them to do so after having carried out their own risk assessment based on their knowledge of themselves and their dogs.

  • All people who enter the paddock do so at their own risk.

  • We will not accept responsibility if anyone is injured when using the paddock and we will not accept responsibility if a dog escapes from the paddock or is injured when using the paddock.

  • We will not be held responsible for any injury to any dog or person who uses the paddock or for any illness contracted by any dog or person who uses the paddock.

  • All people who use the paddock are wholly responsible, at all times, for their own safety and for the safety and welfare of their children and dogs.

  • All people who use the paddock are wholly responsible for closing and padlocking the entrance gate AND the inner gate for their own use.
